In this article, I will talk about various Windows 8 screenshots floating in the internet. Be aware that Microsoft has not made any announcements about the Windows 8 releases, so anything you find in internet about it may not be real.

Windows 8 official release may be few years far, but if you search in Google for "Windows 8 screenshots", you will get 100s of results.

Are the Windows 8 screenshots real


Lot of people are asking this question. Most of the Windows 8 screenshots that I found internet look so real. But I am sure they can't be real. At this time, Microsoft has not made any official announcements about Windows 8 and they haven't released any screenshots.

So, my best judgement at this time is, any screen shots or graphics you find in internet about Windows 8 are fake. They must be the creative work of some smart artists.

When can we get real screenshots of Windows 8


I can't really give tell an exact date. We all have to wait until Microsoft make official announcements about the Windows 8. Typically, Microsoft will start talking about the new OS several months prior to the official beta release. Usually their official announcement about the new release will come with few screenshots as well. So let us watch for the announcements and official release of screenshot from Microsoft!
